Our initiative to launch a brand began with how many quality leftover materials we saw in manufacturing. production shifts, market changes and human mistakes all contribute, leaving a stagnant, surplus inventory that has come to be known as deadstock.

Our name, The Endery, is a playful riff on the leftover yarn “ends” and the creative process required to design with them. The place that makes with the ends. 

At a time when fashion is reckoning with waste, overproduction, and environmental impact, it felt important to build a brand that could lean into existing materials. The world does not need more products or consumption. But it does need more brands trying to do things better - building better systems, implementing better practices. More companies with a soul.

our roots in manufacturing grant us proximity - not just to skilled artisans and innovative techniques, but also to yarn suppliers and fellow factories. Being close to the process allows us to experiment with circularity. Build systems, see what falls short, rethink, reiterate.

we form part of an ecosystem. a community. and we want the people who wear our pieces to feel connected to this.

While deadstock continues to be an important part of how we design, it is not the only way we design. When a piece is made with deadstock materials, it is always noted on the product page.
